Ls swap a/c bracket
I have a 94 silverado with lq9 and dirty dingo high mount a/c bracket.it is crap it squealed sine I first put it on I called them and they say its the tension pulley I paid $60 bucks for a new on on top of $300 for the bracket,so I tried my ac today the tension pulley got even louder. Has anyone tried the holley or any other ac bracket that has worked well I'm using the r4 compressor need help anyone

holley bracket worked great for me. how did you measure for your belt? is it possible the belt is too long? there is an indicator cast into the factory tensioner that will show you if its not the right belt(the marks wont line up)

I have the dirty dingo and it works perfect. I know depending an you a/c compressor pulley there is 3 different belt sizes that you can choose from. I have mine on a 1992 1500 pickup.

Went thu the squeek BS w/ the Kwik brkt. [Belt changes, idler shimming, etc, all to no avail.] Then, I found that GM had issues w/ the pulley location on the PS pump, that was the real culprit.
I measured the pulley location, and found it to be 3/32" too far off the end of the shaft. Pressed it flush.. Issue solved.
May or may not work for you.

Put a GOODYEAR GATORBACK belt on it and that will be the end of the squeak. I have been using them for years on any make, any model or any application that squeaks for no apparent reason. I have never had a Gatorback squeak---ever.
