200 MPH Street driven LS Studebaker on Ebay
Don't know if this has been seen here or not but it impresses the heck out of me. Price is down right reasonable if you ask me.
Check it out.

It is a legit 200 mph car, here is the listing from ECTA record page

He just set the record with it two weeks ago. Makes me wonder what he plans to build next. What is all the more impressive is he drives the car to the track from Barrie, Ontario, pulling a small trailer. He has an extra trunk without the wing. The car went 172+ with a naturally aspirated aluminum block from a GTO before he built the turbo iron block motor.
You could not assemble the parts and put them together for his asking price, let alone engineer it and sort it out. I have no stake in the car, just happen to like 53 Studebakers and this one is special. Definitely walks the talk.

The owner and car deserve a matching set of bad mother f-er wallet and embroidered seats.
Nice find Stu, that car is the real deal. ...and you're right, there is NO WAY you could even come close to building that car for what they are asking. I think you would have a difficult time gathering the raw parts, never mind time, assembly, engineering and testing.

YIKES!...Pat that is one bad Stude. The slippery profile of Studes like yours and that one can't be discounted. Land speed records, sure, I have no doubt. Just look up a guy named Raymond Lowey...you'll see what I mean.
The aerodynamics of a 1935 Ford tudor are very close to that of a Baby Grand Piano. I've had my sedan at speeds well over 100 mph (nothing close to any kind of record) and I'll tell you, it's no fun ride over 125 mph.
