Default PSI harness confusion, quick question.

What I have: foxbody with 6.0, 2002 Camaro gauge cluster/pcm and a psi harness. Where do the tach and temp wires from the pcm go to with a Camaro gauge cluster??

I have not had a camaro cluster apart, but the few I have had apart I could trace which wires go to which guage. maybe I am not sure what exactly you are asking.

Did you buy the PSI adapter harness that plugs into the back of the fbody cluster?

Yes, bought the harness and plug from psi. The problem is there are two wires from the pcm/harness that say temp, and tach, but no where to hook them up at the cluster because they work with serial data. So, where do these two wires go?

I believe the tach wire gets wired into C2 position 10 on the back of the cluster. I don't think there is a place for temp. to go into the cluster. Let me know how that works.

also go to psiconversion.com and click on the instructions tab at the top of the page. From there click on gauge cluster diagrams. It will bring you to several wiring diagrams for your cluster that you can use to trace your wires.

I've looked through the instructions with no help of what I was looking for. But can try what you've suggested. At first Psi told me to hook tach and temp to B6 class 2 data. But my gauges don't work so I think that is wrong.

ok. so you have verified the gauge cluster is working properly prior to installing it in your vehicle? Also you verified the cluster is getting correct power? What is the harness # you purchased? I'll see if I can get more time to research it.

Found this on the website. If you are trying to hookup water press., oil press., and voltage this data is most easily obtained by tapping into the serial data wire on your OBDII port. Simply connect another wire from the OBDII port and run it to the gauge cluster. Most likely where you were originally told, in B6 class 2 data. Maybe you just misunderstood?
