I've got the motor mounts and a 302-1 pan if anyone is looking to buy them.

I see. Well sign me up for a pair if you ever do and can alleviate any issues that may or may not arise.

Thanks again.

Do y'all know what the options will be as far as the components? Is the crossmember supposed to work with 4 and 6 speed transmissions? also will the headers come in 1 7/8 and 3" exhaust?

Sure I do, the headers will be available with 1-3/4" or 1-7/8" primaries (both with 3" collectors)and the transmission crossmember will allow you to install a TH400, 2004R, 4L60-4L75 or 4L80/4L85 transmission in its as-shipped configuration. You can also purchase an optional cantilevered adapter bracket that will accommodate the installation of a TH350, 700R4, 4th-gen F-body T56 or aftermarket T56 Magnum transmission with the same crossmember.

Both of the Holley pans fit fantastic as would the stock F-body pan for sure. The stock truck pan would clear everything but would hang quite low.

What is quite low? How far lowered is your test vehicle? What's the crossmember ground clearance?

The sump of the truck pan is just about 3.5" deeper than that of the Holley 302-2 oil pan, which is the pan shown in the images below. You can see that the Holley pan is above the bottom of the engine crossmember slightly, so that will indicate that the truck pan will extend below the crossmember and be exposed to road hazards.

Our main development vehicle that you see here was configured with a typical 4"/6" drop and you can see that no part of the headers, exhaust, transmission or transmission crossmember extends below the bottom of the frame rails, excluding the heads of the bolts attaching the crossmember to the frame.

That's a pretty impressive feat given the fact that were talking about 1-7/8" headers with 3" collectors, a full 3" exhaust system and a 4L80 transmission. You can lower your truck far beyond what we have done with our development truck and never worry about any part of the system coming in contact with the ground. Enough talk from me, here's the photos that tell the story...

I would be cautious in making the assumption of fitment on your truck...it could work out nice or turn ugly rather quickly.

Yeah I've got a 4L80E out of a 1991 3/4 ton suburban 4x4 and didn't get the shifter linkage so I've been trying to figure out what to do about it when I change transmissions.

I think you'll like it as it gives the shift and more positive feel than the stock linkage does.

right now my stock linkage needs to be adjusted because to be in drive you have to have the shifter between neutral and drive

Toddoky for everyone following this thread can you break down a general timeline of availability of these parts? I waited on hold for an hour yesterday with Holley's tech line only to be told that they wished these parts had never been advertised on the internet so soon and that they have no information on the parts, and no idea when they would make it into production. What are we to believe? Can you clarify and or peg a REAL timeline for those of us waiting on these parts to finish projects?
