brazed on AN fittings for fuel rail
So, everyone seems to braze on the an fittings to the fuel rail. Has anyone ever tried the Russel AN to Hard tube adapters for this? Russel Part number is 639220.

Here are some other adapters that allow the use of AN fittings on the quick connect rail setup.

I'm going to use the Russel fitting. I have it here, along with the rest of the fuel system now. It should be on this weekend, and I'll let you know how it works.

Just to be sure...Bill did you get the -6AN fitting for the rail? John those other ones are slick but I only need one for my rail. Single inlet. I suppose those kits are for the dual corvette rails. Saving more money I guess before this project makes me bankrupt.

Do you guys mean brazed, as in, using a brass rod?...Or do you mean sweat soldered? Since the pinch tubing is aluminum...Is it O.K. to "braze" the steel AN male flare fittings to the aluminum? Thanks, Ed

Yep, I got the -6 fitting for the line. Plus I liked the fact that they were only like 6 bucks, and you don't have to worry about pin hole leaks.
Just my opinion.
