well, this was one of the first LS1 sawps way back in 98 or 99. A guy in Tampa did one.
Fro under $6k? Bring your budget up another $2k at least, even if you already have the shell car. Don't forget about lal the parts you will need to replace/upgrade to handle the new power.

I did some searching and there is some info but not near the support torque central has on the RX7 swaps.

Also from reading the 240SX swap topics the Z32 diff. from a TT should hold a fair amount of power and is also a 3.66 gear which is perfect for track events. I'd like to see someone like Hinson step in and offer a more complete mounting kit with harness.

Hey sounds real interesting. Some one I know put an LS1 in a 240Z and he got a lot of help from this forum. www.twinturbo.net . A lot of those guys are absolutely insane with what they can do on that forum. I recommend you ask them. Good luck man!

there was a guy on this board that swapped an ls1 into a 300z around a year ago. He had a pretty writeup with pics and I believe a video. It was white with mustang cobra wheels.

it has been done a bunch of times, the motor sits pretty far forward... I think I remember seeing the radiator support being cut? anyhow it would be damn cool.
those 300zxTT rear ends are bulletproof and you can fit some beefy tires on those cars, go for it!
