I've been scowering the internet trying to find info on someone or someplace where they atleast atempted it on this chassie. So far nothing but second gens (Z32's) or 240's and such. To those who have atleast done it on a Z can you help me out with some specific "PITA" tasks I can look forward to cursing and swearing to ?

I know several people have done regular 350 swaps, not sure about any LS1s in the Z31 chassis. I would assume it would fit with a little fabrication. Try checking out www.hybridz.org

there really isn't any info online because there isn't much of a following for the Z31.

As for swapping the drivetrain there is plenty of space. Only a select few cars have kits available so you're not really in that bad of a place to start.

Also, search Z31.com...there is one member bulding a drag car with an iron block 6.0 LS from a truck I believe.
