It's been a while since I did any work on my car and I felt like it was time for some upgrades....soooooooo.....
New Cam as spec'd by Martin at Tick Performance, and an Aquamist HFS4 as spec'd by me. I'm gonna go for broke and see what happens when I use all the boost I can muster!!

I used the 5/16 dowel trick to hold up the lifters and yes, it works!
There was just enough room to get the cam out without removing my intercoolers.
The cam is in, drove it around the block but no real test yet. The computer still needs to do some more self tuning. Sounds good though...

Update?!?. Was doing a roll on pull through 3rd gear and blew up the transmission in a glorious symphony of smashing metal parts sounds. Looking at my options. Maybe a tick magnum?

I really want a quaife sequential but right now I'm mid way through getting my pilots license and want to buy an airplane so money is tight. May have to "park it"
for the rest of the year and get it for next spring. Other option is to sell one of my other vehicles and just get a magnum....

It's been a year in the making... Plus a new house with a new garage... Including a low lift 2post hoist... Things are about to get going again!
