Default Bolt-On C6Z 10.04 @ 137.44

Great weather at MIR yesterday. We switched a couple things up. Here are a two timeslips.
1.552---4.301---6.562---108.50---8.499---10.128---138.16
1.450---4.181---6.458---107.39---8.409---10.046---137.44
We may have figured out the last few items that need attention.

Wow!!! That is one fast Z. You're faster than any of the cammed Z06s I've seen. Gotta luv MIR when the weather gets good around here.

Care to share some of the things you have done? I've ran a 10.949 with my bolt on 08 C6. Don't know what else to take out and be able to maintain what I feel is a nice car. I did have the front seat out, light battery, front roll bar off and maybe a couple more items. Need more to reach my goal of a 10.80.

That 4.10 gear is the ticket! Of course mine is an automatic but gearing/converter is where I'm lacking. I have my stock 2.73 gears and a Yank 3200. It makes for a good street converter or for those that want a cam so they can idle up a tad but for 1/4 mile probably not a good choice. I'm looking for a 3.42 out of a C6 but can't find one.

You're not the first to observe that the 3200 is a mild street converter and not the king of the strip. A Yank 3600 (or other true 3600 stall) will do more than gears if you want ET.

These are the threads that make me want to go out and buy a C6Z. It's amazing how well they respond to mods.
