That's sick!

8 second street car ftw. That 1.27 must've felt crazy.

The thing I like most about this is you drove it there and back, I have so much more respect for that vs trailered race cars.

And I lol'd hard at the Grandma parts haha.

How much boost? What fuel? Your turbo must be just about done. Great numbers by the way.

turbo seems to be pretty much done, mph isnt going up with boost any more. course at 153 it takes more then 15-20 hp to gain a mph. boost was at 22 fuel is 93 pump gas and meth.

Is that 200-4R trans really built up with a lot of money into it? If I understand correctly they are a lot smaller and lighter than the 4L80s, right? Yours seems to be withstanding an impressive amount of power and torque!

Sorry, I posted this question in your thread that I then noticed was in the multi-media exchange forum.... I'm thinking that isn't a great place for tech discussions?

define allot of money? yeah its a fully billet internal 2004r built to handle close to 1000 hp in a grand national. they are very light and compact and have the best gear spread and od ratio of most the 4 speeds. give chris a call at ck performance and tell him craig with the datsun sent you and ask for a quote. he has different levels of trans to.

Lol, I don't know! It looks like you might be talking about the CK 200-4r that is about $2500 or $3k with a brake? That's not so bad I guess since there's no electronics needed for it. Just need to rig up a TV cable for it and get a good converter?

Do they have a lockup converter? I take it that needs some simpler controller, or all hydraulic?

Thanks for the info!

mine is with out brake, and some companys can make you a lock up converter but mine is non lock up and has no problems as is. PTC made me mine and it works great, had to send it back in once for a adjustment to get it exactly right but it was worth it.

That car rules.....
I thought I heard recently a stock 5.3, cam,springs,p-rods,truck intake w/76
mm on C-16 in a 3300 lb car just went 5.44 @ 129....crazy stupid !!!!
Just think; junkyards will be filling up with 4.8/5.3/6.0 engines for years to
come. Once you have all the turbo and fuel system stuff just install the next
victim and see how long it lasts.....

Wow! Seems like the 4.8/5.3 are stronger then expected...I ended up going with an LS1 thinking I didn't want to get screwed with a jy engine...stuff like this makes me regret my decision lol
