Default First time ever 1/8th pass or any pass

So I took the car to the track with my build. It's a 98 M6 camaro G5X3 cam and ALL supporting mods except heads and on a mail order tune with a 10 bolt with 3.90s first pass was a 9.42 at 79.91 MPH second pass was 9.30 at 81.24 MPH, third pass was 9.26 at 83.91MPH. First time at a track so how are these Times?

MPH is good, ET is not. I'm assuming you either had alot of wheel spin or left off the line like a granny? haha

Having fun is all that matters though and the dragstrip is always a blast!

i have a 98 with the G5x2 cam only and avg 7.66 @ 93-4, you need traction.

You need a lot more than traction. Those times are not good for the mods. Do you have a picture of the time slip? What was the DA that day?

Yep, thats bone stock a4 times. M6 will need slicks or great driving though to get a similar 60' to an a4. I bet with practice you can shave .1-.2 or more depending on wether you were bogging or spinning but mph is off so im guessing bog or tune. Mph shows your power/weight. Et shows suspension/driver skill.

my lid ported tb lm1 exhaust geared 410 went 85-87mph in the 1/8. 110 in the 1/4

i would think a proper cam car should get more mph

Judging by the MPH change every run, I think with more seat time it will go up and stay more consistent.

Do you happen to know what the DA was there that night? Your times are way off. My buddy over here ran his 98 formula with full exhaust only to a 8.6X@86mph. And that was with about 2500DA. His car is a 6 speed car, stock H/C.
