Thanks, I heard that they had problems in the first round but the car was very consistent.

I seen Tom make two passes; first one it looked like they set it up for a nice cruise down and it ran a high 7. The second run he took off hard like another mid 7 second run, but the front end was up for awhile and he lifted, it was probably turning on him a bit but its hard to tell in the stands.
He was up for first round, but two of the first few cars crashed and I think he may have decided to put it away before he scratched it up again. The real main seal seemed to be fixed!!

We had troubles with the crank signal over 7800rpm all of the sudden and then the boost controller decided to stop working. Made one pass without the controller and blew the tires off then when I got back in it I pulled a power wheelie. The plan was to just run and short shift at 7500 thinking that is enough to cover most of the field but after watching Hinzeman get pretty loose we decided it was not worth it knowing the boost was very unpredictable. In hind sight Milan did a good job bringing the track back and I probably would have been fine but for a measly 1k it was at that moment not worth it.

Tom pretty much summed it up. After cobbling up a boost controller based on a single noid and turning the bottle regulator down to what i think was 20 psi on a 400 psi gauge we were kind of shooting in the dark for getting down track.

between the 3 of us, it just seemed a good idea to pack it up.

Congrats to Steve for the win, damn there was some crazy stuff at the event. Looks like half the runs someone was either doing big wheelies or crashing. Here's a video of some highlights.

Awesome video! Looked more like a wheelie contest than Drag Radial. I was supposed to be there but couldn't make it at the last minute.

I heard that Lee's intercooler exploded, it's a huge unit that sits right on the tunnel behind the seats, I also heard that they fixed it and it exploded again, this time taking out the hatch. I was supposed to run him in 2nd round but he didnt make the call. This is all hear say, I never actually seen it?
