Default hardcore racers with no swaybar and manual rack come inside

i have currently changed my setup and holy **** this car is all over the road not in a bad way but with out that front sway bar i can definately feel leaving the ground at 60mph and it starts to shake the steering wheel a bit and it goes away and back again...

now with this manual rack it makes it a lot harder to steer this badboy and keep it in the groove....

is this all common????
it also has 275 wide tires up front for now..i also have skinnies...
will it be better with skinnies..
will it always shake at high speeds???
y does the steering feel so much rougher even with the manual rack???

thanks guys

Something else is wrong. Ive never had a bit of problem with my setup. With 275s or skinnies.

yea well it definately shakes at 60mph and keeps goin now its the madman rack and with either the 275s or 245s i have they both shake and both i know are balanced because they never shook before this new setup

so what else would cause the steering wheel to shake badly if the rack is brand new and the tires are balanced....im lost now....all other suspension is still in awesome shape too so i dont understand why now

A car with soft rebound drag shocks and no sway bar will be very squirrely, especially on the street. If your shocks are adjustable set them stiffer and stability should improve.

Sounds like some balancing is needed or something. . .

I'm half-way to what you're asking about. No sway bar, but I've still got my power steering. . . . . BUT I'm driving skinnies and I can comfortably go into corners (on-off ramp stuff at normal speeds and no shaking at 90+ at the track. . . .

Sounds like an alignment issue. If the toe and caster isnt right then it will do exactly what you are stating.

Poor alignment, slightly off wheel balance, a wide tire that will follow road crown, and worn out tie rod end/ball joint or a combination of any of those can lead to some scarey death wobble situations.

I run a looped stock rack, and no front swaybar...after reinstalling the front suspension and the alignment was off the car shook and was all over the road... and that was with all new front suspension pieces as well.

ttaaaaaaaa ddddaaaaaaaaa
i guess the wheels that i had sitting around in my garage (i dont what happened but maybe a weight fell off)....either way i put my original pair of tires on that are a known good not to vibrate at all wheel on the car and what do you know NO MORE wheel shake i got up to bout 90 or so and nothing i felt in the steering wheel at all...this was with the 275's then as i was driving it started to poor so no more driving .....
o well thanks to all problem solved for now...
