I just want the stance to be right, dont want a donut looking tire on there. Dont mind a slight rake though, just nothing extreme, if the 165 is ok, ill order them up. Anyone have pics of a 165 tire?

Get the MT sportsmans.

Those 165s aren't rated for that kind of weight or speed.

Those 165's can and have failed. I have some sr radials that are almost new around here somewhere. Make me an offer if interested. They are pretty spendy new so you could save some $$. Or get the sportsmans they are bias ply but really tough.

165/80 is 26in tall and looks right at home, they are not rated for the weight and speed as noted, but i have had mine over 150mph many times and sustained speed over 120 for some time. i only paid $72 bucks for pair of kumo's. im more than happy with them

Its not 26" tall. Its about 24.5". Check if you don't believe me.

And just because you've done it doesn't make it smart. Don't advise people to do **** that might be harmful or dangerous.

damn sure not an 80 series tire if its only 24" tall, i just checked the specs its 25.4". i was thinking i compared it to the 255/50 16(26") mickeys on my car, but must have been the stock 245's(25.7) that i compared it to. they are practically the same height as the stock tire.

anything to do with racing or going fast can be dangerous.......
rushian rullet(sp.) is fun as hell
