Default MSD 2 step guys come in..

Quick question, where does the unit mount? From what i understand it is a plug and play unit that plugs into the wiring harness. Does it mount in the harness that is on the passenger strut tower? I am in the process of doing the wire tuck and i may reconsider if that is the case.

unplug the coil packs, plug the msd harness in to the coils, plug the stock coil harness into the msd harness, and wire in the one wire connection (either switched 12v or switched ground). the msd harness has male and female factory style coil connections

Mine is on the passenger side strut tower which I have velcro holding it in place. keep it over there since my trigger wire goes under the pcm into the interior to the clutch switch.

i just figured out which pin was clutch switch on the PCM and got my signal there... only problem is it left a bunch of wire in the engine bay that i have to clean up. It seems alot easier than going into the car tho

I figured that out also, my thought was I didnt want to splice into a wire in the engine bay and have to worry about the connection getting beat up by the weather even if I used shrink tubeing and all. Hopefully just one last worry down the road
