Default How are my times?

I went to the track last night with my new setup (see sig).
My best of the night was:
60' 2.137
330' 5.781
1/8 8.693
ET: 13.252
MPH: 108.54

I was consistently getting 5 hundreths faster every run, but the track closes at 9.
I am still on Firehawk SZ50 tires so I think my main problem is the launching.
What is the best 60' someone has gotten with a bolton M6 on street tires?

What was the weather like? What rpm were you shifting at? That trap speed is definitely low for what you have and for the power you are putting to the tires. Do you have subs or something in back?

You should be trapping around 111 to 112 mph if you are shifting between 6000 and 6200.

I can't tell exactly what RPM I am shifting at because the stock tac is slow. I am pretty sure it is early because I bounced of the rev limiter my first two runs so I am shiffting sooner to avoid that.
I am going to be getting a harlan **** light within the next month. What RPM should I set it for?

Are both of those times with street tires?

Drag radials.

I'm not sure what you should set your Harlan at. I had a '99 Z28 M6 but never had a shift light. Are you able to set if for different rpms based on what gear you are in? I personally would try setting it at 5500 for the 1-2 shift, 5900 for the 2-3 shift and 6000 for the 3-4 shift. Then based on what autotap or EFILive said I was actually shifting at, I would adjust accordingly so that my shifts were actually occurring around 6050 or 6100 rpm.

I would shift at 6000-6100 for the best trap speeds.

I think the numbers look decent but I suspect that you could go faster.

I went 13.0@110mph on a 2.0 back in 1998 with a 98 SS M6 with headers, hi flow cats, catback, plugs, wires, lid, filter with a stock pulley, and stock tuning and the car hit 327rwhp on the dyno.

See .sig for my time on SZ50's.. With proper track prep and willingness to burn your clutch a bit, I think you have some room to improve that 60'!

Please elaborate on your "clutch burning" techinique. I also have and M6 with SZ50s and would like to improve 60fts. I had no idea you could hit a 1.8 with those!!

Was this a spin or a bog? You were at RT66, so I am thinking you bogged. Try riding the clutch out a little, it takes alot of practice. I used to cut consistant 1.9s when I had an LT1 6-speed on street tires once I got good at it.

A 1.9 should get you in the 12s
