I'm want to know if these will last just as long as the 165/15's VW radials. they cost over twice as much but i like them cause they come in a 26 inch tall size. i think the 165/15 is a 24 1/2 inch tall tire. A nd having 26.7 inch tires in the back it sets off my abs lights on the highway.

A few of my friends have run them, and they don't bulge like the 165s do but you definately don't get as much life from them as a radial. I've seen some replaced after 5,000-6,000 miles!

the sportsman front runners dont last anywhere near as long as the vw fronts. but they are a true 26 inch tall tire. IMO they wear way to fast to daily drive for the price you pay for them. mine are as bald as slicks after 7-8k miles

There heavier but u guys must have a death wish.
A VW tire is NOT rated for a 3000lb+ car.

The M/T 8ply is rated for cars over 3000lbs.
Sure u CAN run a VW tire but if it lets go at 120 I feel sorry for ya.

i have the tire and drive it to and from the track on the street.. but skinnines on the front every day is going to wear fast and not perfrom well anyway.

my car is heavy and gets up there in mph.. no chances here on a 1700# 115mph tire.

i just got some and am running around on them till i get my TT2s all polished and i cant wait till i get them back on, the car drives like **** with them on and the sport man pros on the back
