I've heard that fuel puddling becomes an issue once you start spraying 250+ through a plate on that style manifold. That'd be my concern.

The rings were gapped for nitrous and the cam I was told should proform pretty well with nitrous and won't be a dog n/a

So you guys think I should upgrade to a direct port style kit?

I think you're going to need a broom for that 10 bolt on your first pass.

lol we have beat the crap out of these ten bolts and they don't seem to give up!! that ten bolt has seen numerous 500 whp passes and still there that's not the only 10 bolt we have done it with. as long as these thing dont see a 6 speed or a trans brake there good in my opinion....

saying it survives the hit of the new build. what u guys think this will put dow and or et...

I hope you're right. I'm looking to be around 500rwhp and hope it holds together for a little while. I have 3.73 gears and a pinion supported brace, auto car on a ET Drag, so that should help a little too with the soft sidewalls.

as long as you don't shock that tire to hard you'll be good wheel hop is what really tears things up. t/a on the my sig 6.60 and i have left on trans brake a couple time just to see. i have torn tq arm and broken the drive shaft but no diff braking here...

10 bolt here. 3.73 thick gears. Ultimate girdle with brace. Solid pinion spacer. ARP 2.5 wheel studs. 275 60 15. 4000 ptc nitrous converter. I get against the converter as hard as possible. Been 10.28 so far on a 1.4on 185 worth of nitrous. Numerous 1.4x 60s. I have added a 2 step on the foot brake and about 20 more worth of nitrous. Relocation bracket for torque arm will be here tomorrow and TRZ relocation brackets for lca. I think I will peak at 10.0-10.1x. 3500 race weight. Im using 2 nozzles for 2 stages.

A buddy uses the nos plate. He is spraying 175 on bro plugs, ms3, 243,th400 in a sand drag truck in 4 low. No problems and is just off the track record for street.

I think you should go 9s on 200. I would skip the nos plate. You will need big solenoids and a sho line. I would get the nitrous outlet 2 stage plate for two stages and a nos mini. This will help the rear and power management. I have this same setup minusthe plate and itworks great. Im going to have to get off the coin soon for the nitrous outlet 2 stage plate.

Good luck. Sounds like a fun build.

Yeah, I wouldn't go off of hearsay with nitrous. That will get you in trouble real quick. When you get to a shot over 200, the things you REALLY need to start paying attention to, is nitrous distribution, THE TUNE, a well set up window switch, and a nice progressive unit. Throwing a 250 hit at it on a single stage that comes on at 3000 can be a recipe for disaster. That is a HUGE torque hit on the motor. I have a buddy that is finishing his build for a 250 hit progressed on a SBE ls1. He will be in the 9's for sure, but we will try to keep everyone updated.

If it helps you out at all, the buddy I was reffering to ran 7.2@97 on motor only, then he went 6.47 on only a 125hit. His is a th400/9" car however. Prob about 3500RW.
