Default Can I fit a 29" drag radial with mini tub and 18x10.5 Dark Star wheels with C7 offset

This is on a 1998 Camaro with mini tub and offset LCA drag only car. Front is stock suspension, but all tube. Rear is stock length. I don't mind rolling fender or trimming off some of the quarter at the front as it is about to be painted anyway. I want the wheels to be tucked in more both front and back and the car lowered. I plan on doing a 2" drop spindle in the front.

I have been running 15 weld bullet hole wheels front and back. I have been wanting more tire and I would like the car to sit a little lower. I like the look of the bigger wheels and since MT has the new sizes in the ET Street I can now run a 18" wheel with a 29" tire. I should still have the same amount of sidewall but with the taller tire i should have more contact.

I want to bring the wheels in some. I see the Race Star C7 Wheels 92-805257DSD are 18x10.5 76mm offset / 8.75 BS. Wheel that bring the wheel in any? and will they fit?

Also I would like to bring the front in some and I want 17" skinnies.
They have the normal option 92-745242 dsd which is 17x4.5 1.75bs -25.4 offset or the 92-745245 dsd 17x4.5 2.25bs -12.0 offset c4-c5 versions. Will I have any fitmit issues with the c4-c5 version and will it be tucked in the fender more.

The rear tire I have been looking at is MT #3580
P305/45R18 29X12.50R18
Section width 11.8
Diameter29.0

Will any of this work and what will be required to make it fit the way I want it to fit?

Well, I guess I'm about to find out. I just ordered 1 back wheel to see if it fits. It is supposed to be here by 3/14. I hope it works. I want to bring my rear wheels in so they are tucked more.

I got the c7 Race Star wheel in today. My tire should be here tomorrow. Seems like it fits pretty good. My rotor is not on the side pictured even so it is not rubbing anything so far. Can't wait to see what it looks like together.

I had a 26 tire.

well 15 rim with 26 tire should have about 5.5 sidewall and 18 rim with 29 tire should have about 5.5 sidewall but more tire on the ground.

I think it looks pretty bad ***. I think I may try a 30 next. The wheel being an 18 can tuck in more and still clear. If I had a 15 wheel with the same backspacing it would hit my lca bracket.

You sure about the sidewall. This is a 28x15. I agree with StangEater. If you got enough room for a 29". Can you imagine how much sidewall you would have with a 15". We didn't roll our flange. We used a flap wheel on an angle Grinder and sanded it down. You can get it very smooth so there is no worry about sharp edges.

There is a gearing change to account for - going from a 26 to a 29 is like going from 3.91's to 3.55's, roughly speaking.

I was looking up this post to see what size I had bought and realized I never posted an update.
I ended up building another car using my parts. It is a 1994 Camaro. I was able to make these fit without a minitub. It did take some cutting and beating to make it work though. Here they are on the car I built for my daughter:
