Default New lightweight 4" WS6 hood

Check out the pics in this thread, my bolton prototype is 27lbs but you can probably do some judicious cutting and get it a little lighter, the pinon will be 13 lbs, and available swept back to the windshield like Mark Enwia's 93-97 hood.

the hood looks sweet. Is that something VFN stocks or is it built to order.

Very Cool! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Do they make a Z/28 hood or SS hood? <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

Now you guys just need induction systems that actually require you to have something higher then a stock hood. When are you adding the sheetmetal spoiler and parachute? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Just jabbing at you guys. Looks kickass.

Coach, we will be designing a 3-4" SS hood, pinon and bolton (13, 25) in about two weeks.

They currently have a few 98-02 Camaro hoods... www.vfnfiberglass.com

PSJ,

Does the hood have a ram air box on it like the stock hood. Does the stock air box fit up to the new hood and provide ram air like the old hood. Thanks.

The front/inside part of the hood is molded to a stock hood and can be modified to creat a straight-thru ram air design. I plan to do this before we paint the hood.
