Mike Hoffpauir

I drove out to SCD tonight for a cold night of racing. The car had a raceweight of about 3340 and was run with the Borla wide open. Somewhere around 45 degrees and 80 percent humidity.

Previous best was 1.46 11.16@119 at 3280 raceweight.

1.48 (spun)
11.141@119.71. Typical SCD the 1/8th mile clocks were messed up in the right lane.

I also ran a 1.51 11.196@119.85 and a 1.51 11.17@119.82 both spinning.

I'm not too happy I spun on every run, but with the numerous breaking cars the track was very cold and so were my tires. The car did run that 1.48 after I dropped my airbag pressure to 12 psi from 16. I think I need to tweak my suspension because of the newly added rollbar.
Also, I'm afraid my stock tranny with 25000 miles is getting soft.
Still I got a new best at a 60 pound heavier raceweight <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

Congrats on the slight new best. I also had trouble tonight with my tranny not wanting to shift out into 3rd gear unless i pulled my foot off the gas and then stab back into it. I managed a new best anyway with a 11.59@116.37 on a soft 1.61 60ft. Nice times you ran just need to get a good launch and get the tranny acting right and you got a 10.99 in it <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
