Default TH350 reverse manual valvebody users, what shifter are you using?

Also, please post pics. Trying to decide which one to go with. I kinda like the Hurst Pistol grip. It has a button on the top of it that I would use for line lock and get rid of my current button and then put the transbrake on my steering wheel. Will the Hurst Pistol grip work with reverse manual valvebody?

The absolute best shifter that I have found is the Turbo Action Cheeter Shifter.

I agree with GIZMO on the shifter he recommended but I went with a B&M Pro Rachet..It can be used with several transmission combo's and very easy to use...

The best shifter on the market today is the one I have. It is a Precision Performance Products shifter. Check them out on their web site or in the NHRA Natioanl Dragester.

I didn't even bother looking at the Turbo Action shifters as I knew nothing about them and B&M and Hurst are the only 2 shifters I hear or see floating around. But I did check it out and I like it. Between it and the Pistol Grip, they are much different. What's the red button for? Can that be used for line lock? Does anyone have any pics of it installed with the newer interior? Lastly, seems like a lot of you use/recommend this shifter, what's so great about it? Not doubting, just curious. Thanks

i had one but got rid of it and got a B&M Prostick. was just a personal preference for right now. I will be getting a different one(another cheetah or?) over winter probably.

I ran a Quarter-stick. Non pistal grip.

Have to lube the handle assembly on it every so often , otherwise it worked fine.

I just really wanted to tell Tim that his setup looked sweet in that pic!

Both Jeg's and Summit list 2 part numbers for the Cheetah shifter, which one is the one I need?

912-70002B

912-70012

What's the difference? In the description, the 2nd part number I listed says, "Dual Shift Air Shifter Capabilities."

Also, from the pic, how do you shift it? It doesnt look like a normal vertical shift (up and down). What's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd?

the 002 cheetah works for both forward and reverse pattern. The 012 is reverse only. They have differant style gates.

The pro ratchet like the pic above fits in the car very nicely. I used it in about 15 cars and then used a 6speed top piece to the constole with with leather wrapped around the shifter handle. It looks completely stock like you have a 6speed and it is a ratchet style so you don't have to worry about the handle going up to far and hitting the dash. It moves up about a inch and back about an inch and then moves right back into the center position to stay.

No one out there uses the Hurst Pistol grip? I really like that one and would like to see one installed. What are your thoughts on it? By the way, there's 2 listed, which one would I need?

530-316-2020

530-316-2001

The first part number says that it has forward and reverse pattern and the 2nd part number only says reverse, but also says aluminum case only. Whats that about?
