Panhard Bar question
Is the bar that sits right above the panhard bar and connects up to the chassis actually required...
I have seen some people have removed it, I was just curious if for drag racing purposes... does it need to be there?

I have the upper panhard bar out of my car, but I also run an aftermarket lower phb. I would not run !upper and the stock lower, might flex too much.
I think the upper mostly helps with cornering.

I am running a BMR adjustable panhard with a Wolfe Racecraft single sway bar(not sure if that has anything to do with it)...
So I should be fine with taking the upper out? Just don't try to autocross with it?

You should be fine w/o it for 1/4mile fun, but I'd monitor the heck out of it if the car sees the street. The concern is the possibility of bending the weak chassis mount as previously stated. If you welded-in some plate stock to each side of the mount, I don't think you'd need the upper bar for even the twisties.
