Default Rollcage pretty much complete...pics

Local fabricator designed the cage to be somewhat easily adaptable to a SFI 25.5 down the road...

what a crapload of bars

I don't think I'll ever be able to see out the back window (using the rearview mirror) :-p

hugs the t-tops nice. From the side, almost looks like a rollbar, can barely even notice the front half.

Looks damn good, was this an add-on to your previous bar or did you start from scratch?

started from scratch. This allowed us to use 1 5/8" tubing everywhere without the added weight of the 1 3/4" rollbar.

A full cage only has to be 1 5/8 and a rollbar has to be 1 3/4? Does look damn good... I like the bar that is across the floor behind where the seats will be, that is a nice looking design. The bars that follow the floor by the doors, are those required, or were they put in for the 25.5? Just trying to figure out exactly what is needed for 9.99 to 8.50 vs. what you have going on there.

the bar across the hoop at the bottom is a 25.5 required bar but it makes a good place to mount the kickers for the 10-pt since the f-body doesn't have any interior frame components to mount the kickers too (local NHRA inspector really liked that idea).

The sill bars (that run along the doors) are only required with a 10-pt if you modify the floorboards in any fashion, but are required for 25.5.

The fabricator has a custom window net made to fit the application (using the cage as a template), so it'll be about a week before the net is installed, but there will be a picture of it
