Default RPM's to dump at??????

Ok i have full bolt ons on my trans am. Im still running 3.42 and i am a M6. Also i have 315 nitto drags out back. What i need to know is what i steh minimum i should dump teh clucth at ive only been to teh track 2wice and once i spun teh **** out of them and teh other i bogged. On the street i ususally drop it around 3000. Also im upgrading to 4.10s so once i put them in how much lower should i drop my rpms to launch. Not running heads or cam if you were wondering.

drop it until it rotates the tire about 1/4-1/2 a spin and then hooks

Every car is different - test yours and find the sweet spot.

If you're still on the stock 10 bolt, I'd highly suggest not dumping the clutch at all.

If you put 4.10s in the stock 10 bolt you should launch off idle.

I have full bolt ons and 4.10s, I usually launch at about 2500 and still have a 10bolt in there, I cut mid 1.8 60fts on nittos, so thats pretty good till I can afford a 12bolt.

Ok, break your rear end. You'll be a 20 year old, going to school w/ a busted TA.

keep the 3.42's and you'll be fine for a while. I was cutting mid 1.80's on my 315/35/17 drag radials for about a year and my 10bolt didnt even whine. If you got $150 layin around, invest in a girdle kit.
