Torque Arm help
I just bought a moser 9inch. I'm putting it in right now. I have a short style TA that bolts to the trans tunnel. It hits the floor pan / tunnel when bolted up to the rear . My TA sits off to the sit of the rear and I had to fabricate it just to get it to bolt up to the TA provisions which pushed it away from the rear another 1/2". Alright, im sick of this already nothing ever just bolts up like they say it will. Who makes a TA that will work with my Moser 9inch ? I have no problem welding brackets on the car or anything like that. What about Madman's maybe he'll chime in.

We have the same setup in my son's car. We used the Moser TA mount and had no problem, everything fit as it should. We did have to modify the exhaust system, Lanes true duals, to make it fit but that was nothing major.

The install will be worth the trouble. The 9" is almost indestructable and the torque arm works pretty well. We are still playing with the pinion angle but with massive negative pinion angle we were still cutting 1.4 60' times. I set the pinion angle at 2 degrees negative just as the tracks closed for the season. We are hoping for 1.3 60 foot times this year.

Is your car lowered? We had to do a BUNCH of floorboard massaging to get a Moser 9 inch Spohn combo to clear.

Ya, my car is lowered. But I can't get it bolt up with the rear hanging down, which should make for more room. I guess a 10lb hammer will make it fit and i'm really considering it. Screw paying 400- 700 for another TA.
