Be one with the grinder and you will be OK.

You shouldn't have to hammer anything. If your car is stock heigth you may have to shave down the bump stop.

Grind calipers and cut off bumpstops.

Pretty much, the sidewall bulge is what usually hits the bump stop. I don't have any cross section and tread width numbers in front of me though. Basicly after you grind your calipers, load the rear, then check and see if the tire hits the bumpstop. If it does, just take your grinder to the bump stop.

I just bent the bump stop down to fit 26's, but cutting them off would be easy.

After I put the 15x10s on with 275/50/15 M/T DR's I put jackstands under the frame and let the rearend drop until the bulge of the M/T touched the bumpstop. It looked to me that I'd have to do some dukes of hazard type jumps in order for them to touch. It was almost at full extension of the suspension before they touched so I didn't bother with the bumpstops. Should I re-think that decision?

I grinded the calipers on mine today to try to get my weld's on and I have 28x10.5 on mine, it looks to me like I will have to run a small wheel spacer for it to clear. What did everyone elser do to fit their 28's????
