Default will 315nittos fit on ws6 wheels

tired of warping up cheap ole prostars, so i picked up some ws6 rims, the 275 tires have 0 bulge at all, will the 315's fit, if ima go to a 26" tire on the street ima need ALOT of rubber on the road, it will feel like i went to 4.88's then, haha. also hopin that will help offset some of the weight i added, so it will feel almost as fast as it used to till i throw on some heads in a few months.

oh, btw, how wide are the ws6 wheels

stock are 17x9.5 - i really dont feel you will gain much with a 315 versus a 275 since there is still no sidewall. nittos tend to run a bit narrower than say a bfg radial. it can be done IMO and be safe. i doubt it will make any performance difference.

go with the 275 m/t radials. slip it to the tune of 1.5-1.6 60' all da.

A 315 NItto is the only 315 tire that will fit safely on a 9.5" rim. Like gator said, they run a bit narrow.

thanks for the info guys.

gator, id go with the m/t radials but they seriously suck in the wet weather, a nitto holds a bit better from my experience, i had the m/t 325's on my last set of prostars and they were HORRIBLE in the rain

Smokin-I run a Nitto 305/45/18 on my Z06 18x9.5's rears, and i am always getting compliments on them. The tire equates to a 28.8" tire though, and i doubt that's something that would interest you. if it is, i can get some pics of them on my car to give you an idea

M& H makes a 275/50 r 17 drag radial. I am running Nitto street radial in this size and they look good.
