Default Wheel Hop hell vs. ford heaven

Ok car in sig, about 1/2 the time it hops and the other it spins, can't tell until the tire break loos then yo either keep in it and have fun or let out before you break something because of the rear end hopping around. the car has LCA, RLB, and a factory torque arm, but has been boxed in with steel making it stiffer. I know thats the first thing to try but, did this on another car and did not fix anything. I have to fix the wheel hop COMPLETELY. I drove my buddys mustage again the other night and day really, and i can do anything in that car and the rear does nothing but spin nice and easy. it makes the car about 100% more fun to drive and it does not even have that much power. its la bolt on car that just barly beats a stock ls1 car, but way more fun to drive becasue you don't have to worry about the spinning turning into a slamming, jumping, almost breaking experince until you let out of it. my car has WAY more power, more gear. i can spin them on the street anytime, but the mustang makes the spinning it CAN do more fun because no worrys. some on help me have NO MORE WHEEL HOP

Have you thought about relocation brackets?

RLB = Re Location Brackets
LCA = Lower Control Arms

Only other thing you can do is put some better tires under it i guess...... fixed my wheel hop with slicks a few years back and haven't looked back since

Yep, what he said. If I set my rear QA1s softer than "5" it will hop at times. Using 6 or 7 doesn't appear to hurt a thing.

I recently had all my rear-end bushings replaced, and my car started having SERIOUS wheel-hop... you can feel the car phsyically changing shape... all the door panels bend and everything rattles... horrible... My OE shocks had 129k on them, so I figured it would help to toss in a full set of KYB AGX... I have them set to 4 (out of 8) all the way around... I still have bad wheel-hop... It kinda makes sense that I would get this wheel hop now that my rear-end is much stiffer, and has little or no slop in it... but honestly, I'd go back to worn-out bushings, and my stock 129k struts/shocks if it meant I wouldn't detonate my rear end...

Should I set my rear shocks to a higher setting? maybe 7/8? The car handles like it's on rails, and I don't have SFCs or a STB either... I figure those would only worsen the wheel hop...

I'm running Khumo Exctas STP 275 40r17

I would set them stiffer if it were mine. Too soft, and mine hops.
