Default Passenger Air bag removal????

I'm pulling some weight out of the car (94) and want to pull the passenger side bag. Is there a way to pull it without removing the complete dash? Any tips?

Nope, you have to pull the dash in order to remove it. There's no other way around it.

It's not that bad, just time consuming. Take your time and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the pics, looks like I'll pull the hvac out while I'm at it. If I get time I'm going to start in the morning. Looks like a ton of weight can be pulled under the dash. I just put a Grant wheel on and my K member should be here 1/2/08. Hoping to get the race weight to about 3400 lbs. I really want that 10 second NA pass. I'm also going to 4.11's with a spool over the winter and a dyno tune.

I removed all of the heat crap and the passenger airbag, and it was all 60lbs exactly.

Matt,

Are you a bigger guy? The reason I ask is because I don't have the a lot of the lightweight stuff like K-member and all that and I have my race weight down to 3190#. I know I don't have a cage, but that will add about 90#, and I can pull more weight out then to bring it back down...

Yeah, I'm 6'4 275. The only weight I have added is the Moser 12 bolt and SFC's. The car weighed in at 3640 with me in it in 06 and I didn't get a chance to weigh it this year with the bumper supports pulled and the power steering. I'd say it weighed around 3590-3600 though. I wish I could get mine down to 3200...
