traction, Comp or back to stock shocks??
i havent been able to 60' for some time since i put in my Comp engineering shocks. when i received them from LS1speedINC. one shock was "busted" it wont adjust from the 60/40 setting for anything. I installed it this way on the passenger side rear. The other shock I had installed at 50/50 on the drivers side. i was 60'ing 1.67 with 2.73's and stock shocks and with 3.42's and the CE's I havent mustered better than 1.62.
since I did well on the stock shocks, would you suggest i go back to those or put both Comp shocks on 60/40 to help my traction issues? I'm hoping on spraying a 150 shot out of the hole so maybe softer would be better? I like how the stock shock's rebound actually pushes the shock back out rather than relying completely on the spring. thanks guys

How about getting one new shock and setting them both to 50/50?
You could also try putting the 50/50 rate on the passenger side and use the 60/40 on the drivers side, if anything the passenger side should have the stiffer rate shock if you have one that is softer than the other.

maybe Ill do that. i misinterpreted how i had them set and had the 60/40 passenger and 50/50 drivers side. that may have helped. I also am taking my rear out for a 9" to go in and upon unbolting my swaybar i noticed the endlink was loose. another viable tractionless senario

Every car reacts differently even with the same mods. Those CE 3way shocks should be working better than stock piece.
I run the same exact CE shocks, and set at (F) which is I think 70/30. It's working for me w/ a short time of 1.53 on spray and a 1.64 n/a. Going to try 60/40 next time around. Then 50/50 if it gets quicker. Name of the game....test and tune.

F is 60/40 I believe
XF is 70/30
R is 50/50
got that from CE's site
on the good shock I'm only getting 2 distinct clicks, and I can maybe feel a groove where the shock goes into for the 70/30 setting. I can only adjust 50/50 and 60/40 (if that's what it is) on the good shock. the pointer doesnt really line up perfectly with the F though. maybe it could be 70/30. The bad shock is definitely set to 60/40
