Default Donate Used Spark Plugs- For Good Cause.

Hey guys I need your help!

I am looking to write a tech article for reading spark plugs. With all the new tuning software out these days the amount of people that know how to read plugs are becoming less and less. This creates an issue for racers that have proceeded to the point where reading plugs are recommended. Since there are less people out there that know how to read plugs new comers have no one to turn to for learning. There are right ups on the internet but I think I can do a tech article that will be easier to follow and less confusing to the people learning how.

Please donate your used plugs…

I need plugs that have been freshly pulled. I am looking for plugs that show the following.

Lean conditions,
Detonation
Timing
Rich
Etc…

It is important that the plugs make it here in good condition and not wiped clean.. Please protect the end of the plug by taking the cardboard protector off your new plug and taping it over the end of the old plug. The plugs need to be in the condition they were pulled from the motor….

You can mail the plugs to.

Thank you for your help.

Dave, I have some for my car that are the wrong plugs but never run and are brand new if you would want them.

I was going to pull mine soon and replace them and its a carbed engine. Last I checked number one was burning perfect. I MAY try and get over there in the morning.

oh man am i glad to see someone doing this. these kids today....damn computers......blah blah blah....[/old man speech]

i was lucky enough to grow up in the age when EFI was just getting off the ground and people still used those carb things and taught the youngins how to tune with the see/smell/listen method. if you need a hand wording or writing any of it up let me know.
