Fast A4's with 4:10 Gears On current and past stock internal cars what were your shift points, rev limiter and MPH settings from 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4 for maximum track performance on 4:10 gears. I currently have 4:10 gears and car shifts to 4th gear before car reaches the end of the track. Needless to say, this needs to be changed. Please take the time to assist me, I need help. If this is too much gear-state your opinion.

Re: Fast A4's with 4:10 Gears With my stock stall, i was able to finish the 1/4 on a 26 inch tire and be in 3rd with the stock computer programing. Now that i have the very loose PT4400 it slips so much i do hit 4th before the end, this will be fixed with a 28 inch tire.

Re: Fast A4's with 4:10 Gears I feel that is alot of gear for an A4, if you could stop it from shifting into 4gear you would be much better off. What size tire to You run on that car. Do you run 28in tires.

Re: Fast A4's with 4:10 Gears I run a MT 26.10.15 ET slick on the rear. I have order a Hoosier slick 28.9.15. However, I would like to use the 26 inch tire if possible.

Re: Fast A4's with 4:10 Gears Kent, the 26 inch tire is fine. I've gone 118.2 trap speed internal stock with the 26 inch tire and 4.10's. I set my 1-2 shift point at +1 mph which is about 6200, stock 2-3 shift but put the 3-4 shift at +12mph so it wont shift into od. Thats with hpp3 so if your using something else I would just recommend raising the shift point(rpm) and mph untill it wont shift into od.26 inch tires are the hot setup for SI's with A4's.
