dyno'd my mti heads/G5X3 today
I was real happy. Dyno'd the cutout first (kind of weird) and then capped it. Best pull (the second) was 438.2 SAE rwhp and 396.0 rwtq. Ran real rich then went real lean, under 12.0 below 5,600 and rose up to about 13.5. Guess I shouldn't run it at the track till the new injectors and a tune. Power was pretty flat between 6,000 and 6,500. Closed cutout lost 1 hp.
Mods are:
all the regular bolt ons
electric water pump
mti stg II ls6 heads
LG G5X3 cam
12 bolt w/ 4.10s
stk 16 inch rims w/ nittos at 18lbs pressure
Ran the car last week on nittos, 3650 race weight, ran 11.62 at 122.93 w/ a 1.80 60 foot. Temps were high 50s w/ fairly high humidity.
Dyno seems in line w/ the track results. LSX intake, injectors and a tune coming next.

If it was my daily driver I would say decent. The biggest problem is trying to go slow in first and second gear, so shopping center parking lots are not fun. It tends to buck below 1,800 rpm. Maybe I don't have the technique down. The only tuning done on the car relates to the idle. Just took the information from Nogo's post and it worked wonders.
From the graph it's difficult to say where it peaked. I think somewhere around 6200 or 6300.
Don't know port size and based on memory, they flowed around 315-316. I know they flowed less than the graphs on MTI's web site (those graphs were added to their website shortly after I puchased them) My heads are maybe 2 years old.

I decide on the G5X3 cam after driving Bills car. Bills raceweight is legit also. It drove and idled very nice(even with a/c on) I was on open roads so the low rpm bucking was not apparent. This car still has stock formula rims. Its a fast car!!

I have G5X3 with 3.42 ratio. did not dyno it yet but i think it will peak at 6100 and will sustain the same amount of power to 6500 . that is what i feel . ordered a set of pp ls6 style about a month ago from speed inc and still waiting on them.hope that i'll get hp close to what you got.
