Default 03 Cobra dyno numbers BS or not?

A guy I know dynoed his 03 Cobra M6 vert that only has a cold air intake on a superflow dyno and made 402 hp. Is this correct? What does a S/C Cobra make to the rear wheels stock? I just don't know if this is BS or what. Also the car ran a 12.75 on stock tires.

sounds about normal to me, its very possible with the 03/04 cobras to have well over 400 hp with just an exhaust and simple small bolt ons. I wouldn't doubt it for a second.

That's pretty stout for a CAI Cobra but very believable. Many catback and CAI Cobra's are making over 410rwhp. Add a 2.8" blower pulley and tune and it's an easy 450rwhp.

My brother has an 03 Cobra with exhaust and "intake"...pulls my *** pretty easy in all gears but first. We'll had to a track soon and I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Yeah it is possible, the new SC Cobras are dyno queens, especially being a manual tranny. They put down good numbers on the dyno but on the street it is a diffrent story. This guy has a yellow04 Cobra with minor bolt ons dynoing 440hp and my friend has a red 01 Formula dynoing 365hp and my friend has raped that Cobra time and time again! Gm Rocks!

They're far from dyno queens. They're just heavy pigs! They do run rather well, so dont kid yourself when you get rocked by a bolt-on cobra

the dyno shop that i do my tuning at. He does alot of cobra's I would say that those numbers are right. They usually get over 400 to the wheel with a K&N fipk kit and wot A/F tune to get the ratio in line.

Yeah, thats about right.

Yep, we are dyno queens only. Don't run worth a ****.

SSsinister - I would love to show you how a dyno queen pulls your "friend".

WoW you cant be serious on this one. Listen to your logic. We are talking about 80rwhp difference and you are trying to tell us you friend walks the cobra.

440rwhp and Gobbs of down low torque < a lighter F-body with only 365hp.

So the moral of the story is either the dude in the Cobra cant drive for ****, and your buddy can drive his *** off, or your completely full of **** and the cobra wasnt racing.

Let's just say Ford had something to prove with the '03-'04 Cobras. They dyno very well, but as stated, are usually pretty heavy. Then again, so is my F-body.

My old 03 cobra put down 469hp and 517tq with just a 2.76 pulley, Cai, Off road x-pipe and cat back. This was with a mail order predator tune from Amazon Racing. Air Fuel was even rich. I miss it sometimes but it had issues.

X2 the Eaton more than makes up for their weight disadvantage. The pullied graphs show 450+rwtq @ 2500rpms! They are an easy 11 sec car with basic bolt ons and DR's. Their rears can also take the abuse compared to our 10 babies.

I believe that !! My little LS1 beat a 05 GT (non cobra) real bad outta the hole and all the way till the end. HE was running N20. He blew past me at the traps but I kicked his **** all the way down

Thats pretty quick time for the blue oval guys. However, I ran 12.99 on stocks too and I dont use any BOOST
Now let the GM guys throw on a little ATI power and lets run 'em
