New results.. nothing special..
had my neighbor who owns his own dyno shop re-test my car last night. He has a DynaPack.
We Dyno'd 2 months ago... in all stock form, right down the paper air filter,
295rwhp 98 Camaro Z28 M6
New mods i did..
MAC ORY, with shortie Hooker headers
TSP Rumbler
LS1speed mail order PCM tune
New results.. 322.4rwhp a nice 27rwhp increase.. not bad

I ran a speed Inc mail order tune in my old 99 Z when it just had the SLP Flo Pac(minus the underhood ram air), stock maf de-screened w/ other free mods, ported tb, crank pulley, stock LS1 intake, Mac 1.75in mid-length hedders w/ 2.5in catted y-pipe, and a 3in SLP sprialmouth, 2400stall(stock verter gutted & 4L60-E built by local tranny shop), 10-bolt w/ 3.42 gears from my 99SS, BMR LCAs and homebuilt SFC's and it made a huge SOTP feel, although i never got any numbers to back it up on the dyno but my 1/4 mile times did. I dropped about .45 tenths and gained a lil over 4mph in the 1/4 mile before and after the mail order tune. I went from 13.55@103mph before and 13.1@107mph or there about both times on nitto 275/40 17in DR's @20-22psi on 17x9.5in TT2s.(before F11 cam, vig3200, LS6 intake, 3in x-pipe, & FMS dyno tune)

they guy whom i bought the car from.. had them in a box and just gave them to me when i bought the car.. i figured.. hell i'll try them.. I put them on while i was still living in CA, and had to deal with the EGR and AIR.. then i moved out of state a few months ago.. so I will now be looking into long tubes.. its not high on my priority list at the moment.. but eventually i will make the switch..

even though 322rwhp w/ a mail order tune is awesome for a 98 w/ your current mods.Where'd you dyno it at w/ what kinda dyno and what were the conditions like? Got a graph you can post?? I bet with a K&N filter and 1.75in LT's with a 3in ory & you'll see about 18-20rwhp more. I also think with a K&N filter, LTs, 3in ORY, LS6 intake, ported TB, ud pulley, and a full dyno tune then you'll probably see around 350+rwhp. Seems you have a factory '98 freak. You running a stock rear or 12-bolt?
My current 98 TA w/ a good tune-up using new NGK plugs, msd wires, etc etc and all the above mentioned bolt-ons except LS6 intake but running a 3in x-pipe w/ bullets and TD's instead of 3in ory made about 329rwhp(if i remember correctly) thru an A4 w/ a 10bolt and vig3200 locked with a full FMS dyno tune. LS6intake and F14 thru a 12-bolt picked up 65rwhp w/ a full dyno tune from Scott "Known as Gomer here on the tech board". Just my 2 cents or guesstimate. Good luck w/ it!!!
