new PB! 7's (1/8mi)
I finally cracked the 7's in the 1/8 mi. I rolled a 7.942 @ 87.06, on a 1.753 60'
best mph of the day was 87.86 (7.949 run, but more spin off the line (like a 1.85 60'))
there is also a rumor that my left front tire saw daylight... got 3 witnesses, but no pics.
not sure what that equates to in a 1/4mi, as the 1/4mi track is closed for the winter... but my previous best 1/4mi run was a 12.667, which had a 1/8 time of 8.114
the car is really running consistent now (when i dont do something stupid, like run with TCS on, or i knock the shifter out of 1st by accident). tonight i ran TWO 8.001 runs, a 8.04, and 8.05, a 7.942 and a 7.949 (plus some bad runs).

full bolt-ons, tune, minor suspension/chassis stuff (SFC, LCA, PHB, TA), moser 12 w/3.73's, mickey thompson DR's, pro 5.0 shifter, textralia 'clone' clutch.
before the DR's, the car would be really inconsistent, running between 13.20 - 13.70, 2.2s 60' and breaking loose in every shift.

Your car is very similar to mine before the cam, a bolt on car w/o tune ona MT DR and with a HIGH rpm launch it left pretty solid and consistant.
Since the cam is in there Drag radails or at least Nitto is inconsistant, and I have best success with a bias ply. The car is EXTREMELY heavy and until i cut weight out of me and the car I have to just deal with it.
Great job on the time.

here is a video someone else took of one of my runs. not the best one, but one of the good ones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKO5W4OFNJM ...ignore the weedwhacker behind me.
my car is pretty heavy... stock wheels, and the original owner had the underside Line-X'ed, and the frame filled with foam. the only weight reduction i've done is rear seats and spare/jack. i put it on the scales after the 12-bolt, cant remember the number off hand, but i got it at home. i'll post later.
