Anyone in the area down for a meet or cruise? Myself and a few people might head to the Heavenly Donuts show on Rt. 34 in Derby on Sunday. If this Sunday wont work, it would be cool to get a few locals together at some point to just hang out.

Would be nice if you guys can get there early enough to fill in the back corner with F-body cars. I'm tired of seeing that "end of life" retirement party over there. Is that PT cruiser in there as a joke???

When I go to heavenly I usually park in walmarts parking lot, never even tried to get into the show with fear of not getting out when I wanted. Regardless Im down for a meet up

Im the same way. I go to the Mcdonalds meet in Milford every so often on fridays and its not bad. If all else fails we can just go on a highway cruise from Bass pro or something.

i might come down to meet up. im going to the prospect ct show on sunday first then i can cruse down. the prospect show starts at 1 and ends at 6 i can leave early.

Yea, getting out was always a problem on the busy nights at heavenly. Back in the day we would get there between 4 and 5, there would be maybe 10 other cars, so we would get front row and just do final touches detailing our cars. That back corner I mentioned before though forget about...we used to make a night of it and not plan to leave until after 8 when most of the other cars moved out of the driving lane. I can't make Bass Pro but i'll try to get to the show around 5 or so. Seeya there.

What happened!? I didn't see anyone show up. There was even a blue Camaro with some mods from Wallingford. (post up if you're in here). Before the end of the season we should get as many local f-bodies down there as possible to take over that back corner that usually is flooded with mustangs and corvettes.

6:30!? When was your 80th birthday? You guys were young last time I saw you. hahaha I'll be around, going up to a few fairs for the truck pulls throughout September but should be back in time for the show. Keep me posted next time everyone gets together.
