Shop is probably $500-$700 labor. Doing it yourself the first time will probably take you a day.

You don't need a lot of tools. It can be done on jackstands in your driveway. www.ls1howto.com www.installuniversity.com

A friend to help is almost necessary. Can be done alone, but easier with an extra set of hands.

1. Give yourself a whole weekend if it's your first time. Overkill? Probably. But first time with anything on the car should NOT be rushed IMO. Hard? I don't think so, take old **** off, put new **** on

2. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...&highlight=arh

Get yourself some good angled head ratcheting gear wrenches! 10mm will save your ***...

3. The only LTs I didn't install myself were on my LT1... it cost, enough. Good news is I saved every last bit of sanity I would've lost attempting it!

Oh and the quality of parts could also dictate the ease of install. Good luck if you do it yourself, if not, there should be plenty of shops near you that could do it.

ya i got pacesetters and I've heard they are the easiest to put on. Trying to work a few angles with people see how it comes out. The rest is a TSP Y-pipe with cat and a magnaflow exhaust(thanks to speedtweekerz and TSP).

I've installed both and ARH is easier, but don't worry Pacesetters are still easy. ARH are just, easier... the Pacesetter horse has been beaten countless number of times in the External section
