Default I have joined the Midwest chassis 9'' team

Well I thought I would share I splurged a "little" today and talked to Eric at MWC and put my order thur today. I can't wait should be at my place before the hoildays. No more fear of the weak 10 bolt.

Have to add his customer service and willing to sit and help a customer out is top notch. Never once got a voice mail, or talked to a recording.

Looking forward to getting it and installing it.

Thanks again Eric @ MWC

You just better hope FedEx does not lose anything because it took 2 months for Eric to fax me back a simple letter that I needed to give to FedEx so that I could file a claim and get my money back. I guess he took my advice and got himself a secretary because 99% of all the calls I made ended up at the VM.

Outside of that clusted ****, all is good. I really like the rear, top notch job!

Welcome
Yeah whenever you do take delivery though, inspect it well. FedEx beat the hell outta mine, even scratching the powdercoat nicely in several places. There must be some real ding-dongs driving for them in this area for I'm not the only one who's had issues.

well if you have to have a "fab" 9" to be in the club then i cant join. i have a Moser 9" in mine. couldnt have made a better choice. mine takes 6500+ rpm clutch dumps with 650+ nitrous hp and never even flinches. that's the single best mod you're gonna do to your car man. enjoy

Yep, what do you exactly do if the housing is F'ed up by fed ex you don't sign for it correct?

Then what my mom is going to be out the house to sign for it, so I am got to let her know.

Thanks

If I saw the box was damaged I'd tell the fedex guy I want to open it first before I sign. Check it out before signing, but you can still file a claim after signing. The signature is only needed to verify someone actually took delivery of it.

yeah i'd definitly inspect it prior to signing. Congrat's on the purchase. I have been talking to Eric for awhile now getting my order setup, it's barely out of my price range but hopefully if i can't get it after x-mas i'll get it around tax return time.

My housing showed up in a create with the rest of my suspension parts all nice and wrapped up. The only thing that looked "beat up" was my thrid member. I checked it with the driver there and everything was fine.

I think that's about right. Did you go with a posi, tru-trac, or what? Congrats on the purchase btw, now you can get some good tires and run from a dig (Or just run the amazing 245 street tires like I do)

I did I ordered some MT E/T streets from Summit last night. Steam roller FTW. I am trying to track my money and it has not left the post office, or atleast they have not updated my tracking for the money to Eric

I went with the posi since it's a street car at heart and I might autocross her once and awhile. Plus they're easily rebuildable if it breaks.
