Default Busted out the smoker.....

Nice day with absolutely nothing planned. Kept the cover on the Jennair gas and got the ol faithful Brinkman electric smoker nice 'n hot! I dry rubbed a 6lb brisket last night, let it sit in the fridge, and smoked it to 160 today. Got'er wrapped in foil and sitting in the oven for dinner later....I can't wait! My whole house smells like mesquite lol!

Any of you Floridians smoke dinner at the house from time to time?

I have a shoulder from a wild hog that I'm going to turn into pulled pork later today. Smoked two racks of ribs from the same hog about a week ago. bobodog, I'll have to try smoking the corn- I usually grill them in the husks, and they turn out nice and sweet.

Did over 10lbs of baby backs for Memorial Day. Used Stubbs all natural briquets, hickory for the first hour, and sweet baby ray mopped on the last hour.

For those that use Kingsford coals, try Stubbs, much better flavor, less ash, and a longer burn.
