Talking Who here is running a Procharger with a MAF?

The reason i ask is because my SES light is on some days and sometimes off(?). When SES is on it seems like the throttle resonse is slower for some reason. Should i just get a SD tune or just take it back to the tuner after i get the TB ported? Will getting a SD tune give me a better throttle response or is my dilemma just common with having forced induction with an unported TB? Originally Bob at EPP suggested i stay with the MAF, but maybe its just because at my high elevation may have something to do with it (5200 ft). Any input greatly appreciated!!!

I had a problem with my MAF as well but my tuner was able to solve the issue. It sounds like a different problem than yours. Here is the link to my thread. Maybe you will find something that is useful.

As of now im only at 8 psi, but when I swap over to the F1a and 15psi I will go SD.

mine isn't the same setup but full MAF car/setup here... the haltech 103.5mm MAF with the 2008+LS3 maf card is the new thing for my car, not sure why this wouldn't adapt to your setup, several LS1,2,3,7 guys are going this route, may be worth a look...

god knows it would be a great excuse to get a bigger MAF! LOL! If it fixes the problem of course

I would just go speed density, the stock MAF can't keep up (i.e., say you want the effect of it commanding 11:1, you may have to actually command it at 7:1 to get the right ratio). SD dumdumdum.

I'm running a 100mm MAF with an LS7 sensor and am maxed out. I'm going to go SD as soon as I throw the F-1 on and up the boost.

I think really you need to see what the code is that you are setting. If it is MAF related problem I would go SD I am running SD with my car.

Pm sent on a great local tuner who can help you out. As stated I would start with finding out what the current cods are. To see which direcetion to go, be it in the tune, MAF or supporting function.

You don't even know what code you're throwing? How the hell can you even guess if you don't even know what the problem is?

Keep the maf, plenty of guys making big power with it if you have a competent tuner.
