I got this one and it works great. If you are running a big turbo and are going to compete on a pro tree, you will need the 003.

Not plug and play. Takes some wiring. The difference (I am told by the designer) is in how fast it stutters, and the uber secret timing changes it makes. Don't quote me on it though.

I would call Rick and ask him the difference. 510-SYNERGY

msd makes a three step also, just like the 2-step but another one foe staging or whatever you wanna use it for. im running it and it is SUPER easy to install and cheap like 60 bucks or so!

Ok here is my problem or wishlist. I have lingfelter 002. I have not installed it.
I dont' think will be running a transbrake . So have line lock and two step.
I was thinking if put both the line lock and two step on same switch say switch on shifter shaft then fine at the line. Set two step where you want and away you go.
My car is auto.
But then not good for burnout box.
So then thought put ling two step on brake pedal.then leave line lock on shifter handle. But then since ling don't shut off without adding on their mph switch then might hit the brakes again and run into limiter in middle of run and don't think that would be good.
So was thinking to get msd one if it can let me hook it to brake switch so does it being true two step mean can set it to come off and how would you do that.set it to like 2000launch and 2100 off???
I am used to my talon two steps which are done in software and are simple.
You simply launch at say 2000 and it shuts off right away when car starts moving from mph.
Have to check out the synergy maybe.
I guess could put separate arm on the ling on brake and the line lock on shifter handle.
But still would have the lmiter coming back on if hit the brakes.

What would you guys recommend here..I think need to be able to go pretty high on burnout with my 4l80. Am hearing start in second and put it in third??
Cablebandit what do you do. And is it better to leave with line lock off the line or not bother and just use two step. Will line lock allow it to not creep or push thru the brakes as much.Trans brake is likely best here but so far dont' think getting one. Car is only going to the track for some trophy runs then will be pretty much retired from track.

I have the MSD on mine and it is very simple and works great. A good friend of mine has the LPE on his vette and it works great too. Im sure you will behappy with either one that you choose.
