Unhappy First start trouble!! Help please!

So a few days ago i started my car for the first time and the scavenge pump did not work. So i just got the new pump installed and now i am leaking oil out of the DP(about 4 drips in 5 minutes). I'm not sure if it is left over from the prior pump not working or if i have to much pressure/oil to the turbo? I only ran it for about 5 minutes but want to be sure before i go on any drives.

Thanks

I think its just residual oil i had this happen before if your pump is working just let it idle a bit it should clear up, I thought you had the ebay kit why the pump. As it heats up may get a little worse then clear,if it doesnt check if the pump is working ,you can just try draining right into a pan gravity stlye to check if the turbo is ok.

I do have that kit but drained to the front cover. They are cheaper than a pan. I was thinking that but didn't want to ruin anything in the process.

Were both having stupid problems right now lol more than likely just residual oil, it probably cooled and settled on the inside of the pipe, so when you heated it up it loosened

is it oily water? it could be a mix of condensation from the exhaust. let it get up to temp and see.

Black as night or black as oil? If black as night, please see above.

If the pump was not moving any oil at all, it would be pushing alot of oil past the turbo seals. The car is going to need to run long enough to get hot enough to burn the oil off.

It was just residual oil. After a few more minutes of running it no more smoke. I took a video but i can't get photobucket, youtube or even my email to upload it to the net.
