Default My high compression LS2404/D1SC build

I know there's not a lot of procharged builds out there anymore, as it seems the DIY turbo builds have taken over lol. But I purchased this kit from a member on here a couple of months ago, and been tinkering with it for a little while now...I'm starting to see some progress, and have been taking pictures along the way. The car started out as a 404 nitrous street car. When I say street car, I mean still 6-speed, no cage at all, no weight reduction except for front swaybar delete, and I never put the AC back in last time motor was pulled. The car has held together for about a year now, and I am just bored with the current set-up. So anyways heres a list of the specs on the car, and what I plan to add/change...comments and criticism welcome!!!

2000 Camaro black on black
LS2 404(10.8:1 CR), eagle cranks, rods, and -2cc diamond pistons, total seal rings
Patriot stage III's, gm MLS ls3 gaskets, Patriot gold springs
Pat g cam 254/257 .621/.622 111+2
Kooks 1 7/8"-2"-3.5" headers, Kooks 3.5" Y-pipe to 4" mufflex catback, 4" E-cutout
t56 Six Speed Inc. rebuilt
Spec 3+ clutch, Spec billet flywheel
Liengenfelter 3.5" aluminum DS
Moser 9", 31 spline, spool, 4.11's(chaning to 3.55's)
BMR SFC's, BMR DA LCA's, BMR extreme TA, QA1 coilovers, and shocks in back
FAST 92/92 tapped MAP hole
MAST satin black fuel rails
83lb injectors
NASTY N8 Fuel line/fitting kit, -8 feed/-6 return
DIY twin walbro's
Snow meth kit
Procharger D1SC, EBAY FMIC, 8 rib upgrade, ATI red race BPV

I know there is a ton of other little crap I am forgetting, but thats the majority. But here are some pictures of the progress so far, I have some more I havent uploaded yet.

FMIC mock-up

FMIC and piping installed

Blower installed

Looks like everything is fitting up nicely so far. I'm excited to see what you get out of that kit with your setup since I never got to actually put it on the dyno. Here is a link to the Incon TT project that I'm working on now:

Yeah so far it's been fairly painless lol. Thanks again for everything! I hope to have some numbers next month. If I don't hit 700hp I'll be sick lol. How much longer til yours is ready?

My car is scheduled to be dynotuned March 4th so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that everyone works as it should. This turbo kit is 10x the pain in the *** that blower was, I'm just hopng it will all be worth it in the end.

The motor was built for nitrous originally. Then I got the boost itch and went for it. It's really not much more compression than stock ls6/2. And I'm sure everyone has seen a good many of those ls2's making 600whp for a good while, and even some in the 700's. That's with stock internals. I figure my forged motor with a good bit of meth should live for a while. The blower is pullied right to max rpm now. So I'm hoping for 16lbs, but I figure more than likely 12 or so lbs.

And if it blows I'll go with lower compression next time.

Damn man 10.8:1, thats not that bad but your 93 octane + meth will help tons. Just imagine you could run just 93 if you could get it under 10!

Have you thought about welding up your cold side, thats alot of couplers!

You act like it's a GOOD thing to be able to skimp on meth... maybe for a 5psi street car (and even then it's hugely helpful), but no way at his level.

The only people that EVER dig in their heels over meth have no experience with it. I don't mean to offend, I just work with it all regularly.

Yeah I want to get some cold side pipes made up eventually. This is just how the kit came and I'm running it like so until I have to tear it down again. I still don't think the compression is so bad lol. Hell smokinhawk recommends 10:1 with a blower. I'm only .8 over that lol. And what about the stock c6 zo6 that are boosted? They are 11:1 from the factory. It's all in the tune I believe.

I never dug in my heels on meth at all, I was just stating if he could lower CR he wouldnt need meth as much, but I do know it has its benefits even at lower boost levels. I plan on running meth when I start upping the boost also, I dont expect my IAT to get very high considering where I live.

BTW, your tune seems to be pretty damn good! It started up and sounds amazing. I havent had a chance to bring it outside yet(icy) but it seems like a good base tune. I need to get my wideband looked at because its reading 10 a/f even when the car is off.
