if you have a matched setup...the 1.32 will work just fine with a 43x motor...thats what Phil uses on his 438....spools VERY fast

We just talked with Precision on this. The recommendation is 1.32 for a footbrake car. It will spool faster. They did say the transbrake car can take advantage of the 1.50 AR depending on converter and RPM range.

On a 427-438? I highly doubt you'll see anyone running a 1.50 AR and going fast with a 427-438". Maybe on a 525-550" big block.

Yeah,a 1.50 isn't going to work properly on a small block.well maybe it would with one of those inefficient converters that have 25% slippage

so steve 1.32 will be the best option for my set up . and as far as i know that the engin is in the shop and the hot parts on the way to the shop and the wet sump to .

but i heard that for the 1/8 mile need somthing lower that 3.55 like 3.73 .

There had to be some confusion there... Unless your running a very loose converter. Leaving at 6,000 rpm and shifting it at 10,000. There is no way a 1.50 will work WELL on a small block car.

Tuna, a 1.32 is what you want. I would stay with the 3.55 as well. We run a 3.50 with a 315 radial with a 3spd. And are near the top of 2nd in the 1/8th.

I dont know who your talking to but 3.73s is bad advice for a turbo car. Run 3.50s and call it a day.

I've got twin 44mm gates and can run the boost down to 4# without any creep. If you set the wastegates up correctly you dont need two 60s. One would probably work IF setup correctly.
