Default Turbo Tech Comparison GT35R--LG--APS(base)

Im looking for some information on a few different turbos. I am looking for this information strictly for comparison and for information for others.

I have some of the data, but I am have some of the information that I havn't found yet.


Any info will be appreciated and if I need to be corrected on any of this feel free

im not aware of a gt35 upgrade for the aps kit. i heard one speed sdop in texas was "working" on a kit

GT35R specs:

Compressor max = 68lbs/min

Turbine max = :

0.63 = 23lbs/mn
0.82 = 27lbs/mn
1.06 = 32lbs/mn

thanks for the info,.................how does it change the flow rate of the turbo when you use, for example, a .70 exhaust housing compaired to a 1.06 housing with the gt35r?

Is that 68 lb/min the max the turbo can flow period or does it change with the exhaust housings?

nope the exhaust side merely affects the power band itself and in the case of going to small of a AR you can loose power from back pressure. the compressor side is what affects the power potential.

that makes sense.................you just have to get the right exh housings for your combo

Louis's past comments have implied that his upgraded aps units make much more power than the garret gt3582s. If that's true, can the garret gt3582s be upgraded for a reasonable price?

that guy is busy as hell all the time, your lucky to get him on the phone because most of the time hes at the track, or on the dyno, or some other crazy stuff

Forced Perf can do upgrades to the gt35's just like they do for the mits 20g

I would think they would fall short of a 88.................there are several diff 88's out there though

standard GT35 comp wheel is only 60lb/min not 68

Thanks for correcting me

When you look at those maps what do you look for? Where is the max flow on the map. Im assuming that the pressure ratio is the compressor pressure/back pressure.

Where is the limit as far as that ratio goes?

Just need a little info so I can know exactly what im looking at.
