Default broken hub

Has anyone heard of or broken the hub on the super damper. (918853). I have a f1r cog system on my truck. First hub I broke thought it may have been a bad one. And this past weekend at the ls1truck shootout I broke another one. I have a keyway that the engine builder did for me.
What could I do to fix this issue? A search brought up nothing ill post up a pic in a bit

I broke one with my F1R and it took out the crank too. How wide and how deep is the keyway? You should be using a 3/16" key.

yep, bolt was tight. im not sure on size of key.. trying to find that right now
i called ati about it and they told me i needed the ati super pulley for the charger so it wont cause so much stress when coming down from high revs.. do you all think that is the solution?

Ive been using a Powerbond pulley as a base for a few years now. Zero problems with a big heavy adaptor and pulley bolted to it.

What part number did they reccomend you use? Mine may be a different part number because of the front mount but mine is an ATI Super Damper PN# 917211 with steele hub PN# 916045. When I bought the hub I instructed them to cut a second keyway. Talk to Rob at ext 3040, he knows their LSX products well.
