inglewood? I grew up in redondo. My dad has a place in hawthorne now. My mom and grand parents lived in inglewood for along time
Depends on how you do it...as for turbo charging. Id go rear mount on a 97.
The noses are a little tighter for intercooling and etc etc. Its all just a little tighter.

I am looking at a LT1 Z28 for a future turbo project. Something simple. Maybe a 383 with 9.5:1, AFR heads, And Carb style intake, S85 turbo, MFI ECM for the fuel and a MSD 7130 for the spark with crank trigger. Most likley a TH400 and 9". Just a street toy. Shooting for 900-1000rwhp. Something new to paly with.

Also, FWIW, the slickfit log headers for an s10 v8 swap work rather well. Passenger side log needs dented to clear the motor mount, driver side fits perfect.
Eric Bazan (the fquick I mentioned earlier) made 752 at the wheels with them.
I have a driverside one laying in the garage, and part of the passenger side still.
