Default Blown with ICE?

I have a new question and wonder if anyone has tried this. Could you use aluminum piping say two feet from the rear mount turbo outlet? Would the cooling be worth it? Can it be done? Not to offend, I will only put a blower on my Ws6 but my daily driver sebring needs a junkyard turbo. Thanks.

You want to keep hot exhaust gas in the exhaust to help spool the turbo

I am thinking of the turbo exit to the intake where we want the air as cool as possible. Would it work?

your question is confusing. when you say "turbo exit" do you mean on the hot or cold side?

If you were to try this I would put the "ice box" away from as much heat as possible aside from the turbo air. Thus outside heat isn't melting the ice.

It might be worth a 10th or two but I highly doubt it would really be worth it.

Ya few understand me and it might be my fault. I really just want a lowbuck turbo with no intercooler for my daily ditch driver. I am not even sure I can get aluminum piping but with the cooling properties of said aluminum maybe I wouldn't need an intercooler. Eight to ten feet of aluminum from the turbo outlet to the intake tract might cool the charge enough? Opinions. Criticism!

Almost everybody with a turbo system has aluminum pipe feeding the engine, but the intercooler is intended to cool the pressurized air, not the pipe itself!

You could go with a remote mount kit like STS. You would be able to run pipe stright from the turbo to your intake. It would keep some of the heat down. That or run a water/methanol kit to make up for the intercooler.
